Anyway, I posted my day 30 pics in the Scrawny to Brawny thread in the P90X forums and they're telling me that I'm still not eating enough. I'll be checking the scale after a while on 2800-2900 calories and see if I still need to go up. They also said I need to cut back on the cardio but I'm sticking with it for now. I'll modify the program but not until I've completed it like it's intended for the first 90 days.
Everyone keeps calling me a hardgainer. Many people in that thread said they hesitate to call ANYONE a hardgainer but I'd be it. I guess I'm pretty scrawny then, eh?
Anyway, below is the nutrition.

Nah, you're not scrawny, bro- you probably are something of a hard gainer, though- but, that said, you're eating almost 3,000 calories a day, and looking nothing but full of delicious lean muscle mass. Whatever on those dudes, anyway, most of them are fatties trying to cut, and they walk around with big flab covered muscle and think they are king of the beach. Don't let what they say make you swerve from your path. I think you're doing great!
ReplyDeleteI bought delicious creatine post workout shake material and some AWESOME supplements from GNC last night- It's a pill pack that has a mix of omega type oils from various sources, so basically your fish oil pill, plus a pill for thermogenics, plus a pill for getting the blood to flow through the veins more efficiently, and some glucosamine for joint stuffs. Let me tell you. I was on the treadmill after my weights session, only 20 minutes- only walking- (albeit with a 11 grade incline) and my heart rate was through the roof. I sweated like it was 160 degrees outside. It works!
The thread I'm referring to is full of people who started skinny and are working on gaining mass--they're not the fatties.
ReplyDeleteWhen it comes down to it, it's about the results. I'm seeing gains and monitoring my weight. As long as things are working out, I'll keep on doing what I'm doing, and if there's issues, I'll eat more/work harder. When it comes down to it, isn't that all it's about?
Pill pack, eh? What's it called? How expensive?
haha. Nice! I only saw this just now.
ReplyDeleteHow did your routine go? You like the results?
Not really sure what I told you on the thread, but if you add more carb, you should be fine. Bulking is more about eating complex carb. Less cardio means less energy burn, so more energy can be use to rebuild muscle tissues and bulk up.
