Well, as predicted, Yoga was NECESSARY to life. A looooot of stretching in the later parts and some calming and balancing moves too. Hard parts? The beginning. Holy crap, my legs and gluts were about to burst OPEN, but I stuck with it as much as I could. The hardest part was the Yoga Belly 7, though. I had a TON of trouble and kept collapsing. I can NOT keep my legs straight for those things!
Oh well. I can't WAIT to get better with Yoga and flexibility in general.

Yeah I love me some yoga. I need to start doing it again. I grabbed YRG, or yoga for regular guys- apparently it's got a couple of 45 minute routines- but I'm scared it'll be too much with my weight training. I dunno.
ReplyDeleteI'm doing hard cardio tonight- I need it. I had such a bad workout tuesday that I need to make up for it.
Breakfast: Kashi/almond milk/blueberries/flax
snack: builders bar
lunch: 2 cups spinach, carrots, tomatoes, cucumbers, 2 oz. tempeh, 1/2 c. garbanzo beans, 2 tbsp mixed nuts
snack: good ol greek yogurt and honey
dinner: 4 oz tuna, 2 slices organic sprouted bread, 1 cup cooked green beans
Sister, I'll show you this Yoga. I'm telling you, 90 minutes seems like too much, but it goes through many different things. 45 minutes of tough work, 10ish minutes of balance, 10 minutes of a low-impact ab work, 20ish minutes of deep stretches, complete relaxation. I feel GREAT today!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy cardio. What cardio are you doing?
Jillian Michaels. Basically it's boot camp style cardio, plyometrics and what not. It's tough. 7th circuit, I want to die. There's 8 circuits.
