Today since I had sweet potatoes with dinner (lower calorie, lower carb than most dinner carbs that I eat) I ended up having a 7TH MEAL involving 2 english muffins, 1 tbsp earth balance, and 1 medium apple. CRAZY. Laura said to me "Wow, you really NEVER stop eating, do you?"
Anyway, today was Yoga. I was interrupted partway through by the trugreen lawn people who managed to get me signed up to get lawn treatments because my lawn sucks and is practically unmowable in its current condition. Meanwhile, I'm planning my concerts on FRiday and my observed lesson tomorrow.
SO TIRED. WANT BED. Good night friends!

I gotta tell you, kid- this lower carb thing is working for me. I didn't think that it mattered, calories in, calories out, right? As silly as a diet by body type sounds, they say that endomorphs benefit from a lower carb diet with an emphasis on protein. I was reading an old shape magazine from January or something, and they had a section in there about how eating a big carb load in the morning and avoiding carbs the rest of the day is the best way to bust a plateau. I was like- why didn't I notice this before?
ReplyDeleteI was also reading t-muscle, which I do a lot; those PhD's are pretty smart. They said that you have to seriously work out like 5 days a week, lifting AND cardio AND HIIT in order to lose body fat, and I have to believe that's insane. I do think, however, that I need to add another day of cardio to my workouts, I just don't think I do enough to burn fat.
